Some people claim to be systemic disability advocates, but advocate only for a niche group of people with disability. I view NDIS as a system owned by all Australians. Any Australian could become an NDIS participant at any time, so it is critical that we have an equitable, functioning NDIS now and for future generations. Unfortunately NDIS is currently inequitable and dysfunctional.
The Government regularly publishes disability data, however it is normally published too late to be useful, and it is never presented in a manner that is usable to disability providers. For years I have undertaken disability data analysis and reporting, and make these analyses available for free on LinkedIn. Connect with me on LinkedIn to automatically see my regular posts.
In the past, I have consulted to disability providers throughout the country, including small to medium size providers (under $80M turnover), local Government and ACCHOs. I have currently paused consulting work to focus full-time on a new project, www.dsx.org.au
